It's the people who make this city, and the residents of Ward 4 are passionate about their community — that passion is what drew me to this work in the first place.

I am a lifelong resident of Kitchener and have lived in Ward 4 for over 30 years — it's where I raised my family and made lifelong friendships. Outside of council, I've had the privilege of serving as Director of Community Engagement and Programs at YWCA Kitchener-Waterloo, a rewarding role that keeps me deeply connected to the needs of our community every day.

In 2018, I received the honour of being elected as your Ward 4 representative, and I've been grateful for that trust every day since. Over the past eight years, it has been my privilege to work alongside so many of you — at your doors, in community meetings, and on the issues that matter most to your neighbourhoods. That collaboration has shaped everything I've brought to Council, and it's why I'm asking for your support for a third term.

Ward 4 is growing, especially in Doon South, where development continues under a secondary plan initially drafted back in the 1970’s. That growth brings real opportunity alongside real responsibility — we're already seeing it in redrawn school boundaries and added pressure on roads and infrastructure. Through the public meetings held on this plan, residents have made clear they want growth that strengthens, not strains, our connected communities. With your support, I'll keep working with Council and City staff to revisit this plan where it's needed and keep growth grounded in what residents actually need.

My priorities for a third term are simple: safer streets, responsible spending, cleaner neighbourhoods, and a Ward 4 that's more connected, inclusive, and active for everyone who calls it home.
