Continue Building a Better Ward 4
My priorities for a third term are simple: safer streets, responsible spending, cleaner neighbourhoods, and a Ward 4 that’s more connected, inclusive, and active for everyone who calls it home.

Keeping Taxes Low,
Services Strong
Families today are watching every dollar, and City Hall needs to do the same. I’ve worked with Council colleagues to build budgets through consensus, not division — for the third year running, we passed Kitchener’s budget with no last-minute amendments, landing this year’s tax increase at just 2.2%, one of the lowest in the Region, while still funding roads, parks, trails, and the new Cowan Recreation Centre.
Re-elected, I’ll keep collaborating with Council to find efficiencies and hold the line on spending so residents get the services they rely on without an unaffordable tax bill.

Safe Streets for Ward 4
No parent should have to think twice about letting their kids walk to school. No cyclist should have to brace for speeding traffic on the way to the trail.
Since 2018, I've backed Vision Zero and LoveMyHood — and this past year, delivered slow-down signs to every Ward 4 resident who asked.
Re-elected, I'll keep fighting for more traffic-calming measures, safer school zones, data-driven fixes on our riskiest streets, and complete streets built for people — not just cars.

E-Bikes and E-Scooters
E-bikes and e-scooters are a great, green way for Ward 4 residents to get around, and I want to see that keep growing — safely.
Too few people know the rules, and enforcement is inconsistent. Re-elected, I’ll push for a public-awareness campaign on e-bike and e-scooter safety, clearer local rules about where riders can travel and park, and better coordination with the Region and Province so cyclists, scooter riders, and pedestrians can all share our streets and trails with confidence.

More Park Spaces
Doon South needs more parks — and I'm making it a priority. Council's new parkland strategy confirms Doon South has some of the least park space in Kitchener. The city has set aside $25.5M to buy parkland. I'm pushing to make sure Doon South gets its share. Every family here deserves a park close to home.

A Cleaner, Well-Kept Kitchener
As former Kitchener Mayor Dom Cardillo used to say, “Let’s keep Kitchener clean as a kitchen.”
I love seeing how many Ward 4 neighbours turn out every year for the Doon Pioneer Park Earth Day clean-up — students, kids, and families all pitching in together, filling dozens of bags of litter from Pioneer Park, Huron Park, Biehn Park, and Pioneer Drive in a single morning.
That’s the kind of neighbourhood pride that makes Kitchener great, and I want to build on it: growing programs like LoveMyHood so more streets can host their own clean-ups, making it quick and easy to report litter or an illegally dumped item so it’s cleared away fast, and keeping our parks and trails well maintained so residents stay proud of where they live.
